Does this platform service the entire country?
No, www.ihssconnect.com only services the state of California. Please note, you will not be able to search any areas outside of California.
Is it free to use www.ihssconnect.com?
Is money exchanged between provider and recipient on this platform?
Does www.ihssconnect.com issue W-2s to providers?
Do you confirm current vaccinations are up-to-date with providers?
Do you perform criminal background checks on recipients or providers?
No. IHSS Connect does not conduct background checks. However, we’ve partnered with Checkr to offer optional background checks that caregivers can choose to complete. Recipients should still conduct their own due diligence before hiring, and providers should do the same before accepting any opportunity. For more information, please review our safety guidelines.
Who is responsible for firing a provider?
Is this site a government-run platform?
No. IHSS Connect is a privately owned company and is not operated by, or affiliated with, any city, county, or state government program.
What type of providers can find work on IHSS Connect?
Can I send a message to anyone?
Can providers send messages to recipients?
Not directly. Recipients must initiate the conversation first through the messaging system. Once a conversation has started, both parties can continue messaging. Providers can also apply to unlimited job postings and include an message when applying.
