In an open community like IHSS Connect, where all are welcomed to join and contribute to its success, we must all agree to adhere to common guidelines to ensure everyone feels valued, safe and respected.
In addition to our Terms & Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy, all members must abide by the rules of conduct listed below which will guide members of this platform to a successful experience.
Any registered member of this community may be temporarily or permanently suspended for violating these guidelines, regardless of intent.

Respect & Safety
Treat every member with dignity, patience, and professionalism. Keep communication respectful, protect personal information, and never engage in threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or unsafe behavior online or in person.
Honesty & Transparency
Provide accurate information about your identity, experience, availability, services, and care needs. Be clear about expectations, pay, schedules, responsibilities, and program requirements so both sides can make informed decisions.
Fair Pay & Working Conditions
Discuss pay rates, hours, duties, and working arrangements openly before care begins. Caregivers should be compensated fairly for approved work, and recipients should provide clear expectations, a safe environment, and respectful working conditions.
Zero Tolerance Policy
IHSS Connect does not allow harassment, exploitation, fraud, abuse, discrimination, or any conduct that puts members at risk. Any reported behavior that violates these standards may result in account review, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.

Accountability
All ihssconnect.com members are expected to treat each other with respect during every interaction. We will not tolerate communication or conduct that condone, perpetuate, or expresses discrimination, hate, harassment or bullying of any nature. This platform will not tolerate any actual or attempted acts of physical assault or abuse, sexual assault or abuse, sexual harassment, theft, violence, fraud, child exploitation or abuse, prostitution, extortion or creating or distribution of pornographic material, regardless of intent.
Due Diligence
Members are responsible for doing their own due diligence before entering into any caregiving arrangement. This includes reviewing profiles carefully, confirming qualifications, checking references, verifying program requirements, and asking questions about availability, duties, pay, and expectations. IHSS Connect helps members connect, but each user is responsible for evaluating fit, confirming eligibility, and making informed decisions before hiring or accepting work.
Representation
All information shared on IHSS Connect must be truthful, accurate, and current. Members may not misrepresent their identity, caregiving experience, qualifications, availability, services, care needs, or program status. False, misleading, or incomplete information undermines trust and may result in account review, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
